I hope everyone had a great winter break and re-energize for the spring season! Details of the spring season is now up and posted on CAYSA. We will have some important dates upcoming below as well as team recommendation for cup play. We are waiting for HHPR to complete their schedule to have access to fields with lights. If you have players NOT returning for the spring season, please complete the Player Release Form to take the player off your spring roster. Please email me the signed copy.

Fall season player cards will carry over to the spring season. If you have new players, a player card and new roster will be issued to the team.

CAYSA SII Cup (Cav 96 blk, Cav 95 blk, Cav 94 wht, Cav 93 Blk):
CAYSA will be offering a CAYSA Cup SII League this Spring. Due to the restructuring and start dates of STYSA Presidents Cup and Directors Cup, teams may also play in preseason games in the CAYSA Cup SII League prior to the start of Cup play. Teams that choose not to enter STYSA Presidents or Directors Cup may enter the CAYSA Cup SII League for Spring 2012.
All other CAYSA teams who wish to register and play Directors, Presidents or National Cup, information/registration links are also posted below.
*For teams choosing to play in the State Cup below, keep in mind there is a potential to play games south of San Antonio as this cup is run by the State instead of CAYSA!

Cavalry 96 Black Wins Labor Day Cup!
Tri-County Soccer Club Cavalry 96 Black concluded their Austin Labor Day Tournament by capturing the Under 16 Gold Division championship with a victory over Lonestar 2-1 for their first Labor Day Championship. The players battled the elements as well as their opponents throughout the weekend as temperature, wind & action grew in intensity each day.
TCSC Cavs took an early 1-0 lead inside 15 minutes versus tournament host Lonestar with a diagonal pass from Jonathon Keene to Austin Synder beating his defender and the fast approaching goalie for his second goal in the tournament. The teams interchanged possessions throughout the game as the winds created havoc for both teams before Austin found another opportunity on a counter-attack to expand the lead to 2-0 midway through the 2nd half. Lonestar kept the game in doubt with a late goal and several additional attempts on frame prior to the final whistle.
TCSC Cavalry 96 is a competitive travel soccer team consisting of players representing Ellison, Copperas Cove, Harker Heights, Shoemaker, Belton & Brownwood HS competing throughout Central Texas. This victory marks their first championship at the tournament to go with a 2nd place finish in 2009.

Cavalry 00 Red Finishes Second ALDC!
The Tri-County Cavalry 00 Red soccer team competed in the Austin Labor Day Cup this past weekend. The team did very well over the three day weekend with two decisive wins on Saturday and a win and loss on Sunday to place them in the championship game on Monday. The championship game was played at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock. The team started off the game well but were overcome right before the first half ended. After a great second half the team was defeated with a hard fought loss against the Houston Texans. Overall the team scored eleven goals with only five scored against them. Scorers for the weekend were Ricardo Arellano, Anthony Avila, Ethan Connor, Jordan Hatter, Alex Hernandez, and Israel Hernandez. Also playing spectacular games were Christian Diaz, Sean Dreher, Cameron Jackson, Roberto Jaimes, and Manuel Hernandez with Dayton McCoy in the goal. Coaches are Ricky Hatter, Israel Hernandez Sr, and Holley Hatter. The team placed second out of ten teams.
Cavalry 95 White Wins in Oklahoma!
Tri County Soccer Clubs U17 Division 1 team Cavalry 95 White traveled to Edmond Oklahoma this past weekend and captured 1st place in the U19 age group. Cavalry 95 White played 2 games Saturday and 2 games Sunday to win 1st place. Cavalry 95 White went undefeated for the weekend with 3 wins and 1 tie, scoring 15 goals total while allowing only 1 goal.
The first game Sat was against Edmond 93 team. Cavalry 95 White handled them easily beating them 6-0. Three players scored a pair of goals each they are Ryan Vincent, Keegan Valentino and Angel Jasso.
The 2nd game Saturday evening against DFW 95 team, was a much closer and hard fought game with Cavalry 95 White ending on top 2-0. Goals where scored by Nathan Deiderick with a beautiful 35 yard shot that dropped over the keepers head and Keegan Valentino beating the keeper one on one.
The 3rd game was Sunday morning at 7am. All Cavalry 95 White had to do was win or tie to advance to the Finals. The team they face was Cosmos 95 from South Lake Oklahoma. Cosmos went on top early in the game 1-0. There where many close attempts by each team. with about 15 minutes left in the game Cavalry 95 White Anthony Galick took a left footed shoot off of a corner kick. The goal keeper for Cosmos 95 miss handled the ball and Erik Rodriguez put the rebound in the back of the net to tie the game 1-1. For 15 minutes both teams fought hard to score but to no one could put the ball in the net. The tie sent Cavalry 95 White into the finals for Sunday afternoon.
The final game was hard fought for the first half with Cavalry 95 White leading at half 1-0 on a goal by Andrew Flores. Cavalry 95 White players found their composure in the second half and went on a scoring spree. Goal scorers where Ryan Vincent with 2 goals, Anthony Velarde off a full volley in the air, Nick Pirino with a header from a corner kick and Dallas Murchison with a rebound.

TCSC Fall 2011 & Spring 2012 Orientation and Tryouts
Tri-County Soccer Club is a Competitive Travel Soccer Club supporting our local communities for over 15 years. We offer youth athletes an opportunity to compete with and against similar athletes in a competitive travel environment.
The pre-registration provides an opportunity to register prior the day of tryouts/orientation and is no obligation to our organization. There is no fee to pre-register. To pre-register:
Players attending the Orientation & Observation day, please prepare to play! Please wear soccer cleats, shorts, shin guards. Also, bring plenty of fluids and a soccer ball.
Players attending tryouts, please wear no team logo shirt (preferably white), shorts, soccer cleats, shin guards. Also, bring plenty of fluids, a soccer ball and the desire to compete.
Under 9 & 10 Player Orientation & Observation Day 630pm @ Summit Field Complex in Harker Heights:
May 16th - Under 10 players and parents
May 17th– Under 9 players and parents

To provide an opportunity keeping our teams cohesive for the seasonal year, players are committing for BOTH seasons – Fall 2011 and Spring 2012. This will help keep our teams in a competitive balance with other travel programs. If the player chooses not to return for the Spring 2012 season, NO REFUNDS are available for the spring season.
Seasonal Play
September – December 2011. The Fall 2011 season opener is September 10, 2011. Most teams will start training in August with some training throughout the summer to prepare for tournaments prior to the season opener. Please consult with team representative once the teams are formed for additional training dates. The conclusion of the regular is usually prior to Thanksgiving weekend and state championships the first 2 weeks in December.
February – May 2012. The Spring 2012 season will start in late February or early March for the under 14 teams and after spring break for the Under 15 teams and older. The conclusion of the regular season is the end of April with State championships in early May.
Cost & Payment
Division 2 & Super 2 teams - $225/per season, $450 for the season year.
Division 1 teams - $550 for the year.
Uniforms Kits for New Players: includes 2 jerseys, 2 shorts, 2 socks, 2 training tees, full warm-up & team bag - $140.All payments are made online via echecks, debit & credit card with a variety of payment options. If payment is needed by alternative methods, please ask the team representative.
Cavalry 95 White Finishes 2nd at Austin Labor Day Cup
This past weekend the Tri County Soccer Club was represented by several teams in several age brackets. The Cavalry 95 White team did especially well playing a total of 5 games including the Championship game over the three day weekend. The team started its games on Sat with a convincing 3-0 win over a local team from Austin. Ethan Roden, Dallas Murchison and Anthony Galick combined for the 3 points on the first game on Sat. The second game Sat was a very hard fought battle that ended with a 2-1 loss to a team from Houston. The lone goal was scored by Tyler Hicks. Cavalry 95 White recovered well for Sun games beating a Houston team 1-0 and an Austin Lonestar team 1-0 to earn there place in the Championship game on Monday. The goals scored on Sunday where by Ethan Roden. The Championship game was against a San Antonio team. Cavalry 95 White score a goal 10 minutes into the game by Ethan Roden to go up 1-0. By half time Cavalry 95 White had given up a penalty kick and a header to be down 2-1 at the half. Many opportunities where missed during the second half to even the game and even go ahead but time expired and the game ended 2-1. Cavalry 95 White placed 2nd out of 10 teams in the U16 age group. The team has been playing in this soccer tournament for the past 5 years. Cavalry 95 White won this tournament in 2007 when the boys where U13
